“how to get rid of butt cellulite”

The two most frequent topics we get asked about here at Metabolic Effect are belly fat and lower body fat (specifically What Causes Cellulite). I have already written pretty extensively on the physiology of belly fat (You can read those blogs HERE, and HERE and also HERE).

“I’ve spent a lot of time traveling in developing countries and photographing local women. When I photograph these women [who don’t have much, or any, cellulite], you see the kind of work they’re doing and the kind of food they’re eating.

You will be able to make the activity more intense by doing it with lower leg weights. On the off chance that you don’t have lower leg weights, do the activity with a light dumbbell held behind the knee.

Mine is of the most common, boring variety: all the way across my thighs, mimicking orange peel. It’s been there since I was about 13 and the various detoxes, diets and exercise regimes I’ve undertaken since then haven’t made a jot of difference. Luckily, I’m not overly bothered by its existence – yes, being sans cellulite would make donning a bikini a bit easier, but I’m not inclined to throw too much time or money at ridding myself of it.

Eat healthy fats. Cellulite is caused by the fat just under the skin, but if your skin is toned and healthy, the cellulite won’t be as noticeable. Foods like olives, nuts, avocados, fish and olive oil contain omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for healthy skin.

VelaSmooth utilizes electro-optical synergy (ELOS). In this treatment, suction is used to position the skin, specially-designed rollers are used to manipulate the area, and a combination of radio frequency energy and infrared light energy is applied to the tissue. This energy heats the tissue, improves blood flow (circulation) to the cells, and increases fat metabolism, which reduces the size of fat chambers and the appearance of cellulite.

A regular exercise practice cannot cure cellulite—but in many cases it can help prevent or reduce its appearance. Cellulite occurs when connective fibers underneath the skin become weak or lose their elasticity, but stretching and strengthening those areas (in addition to burning away excess fat overall) can help. “Firming and toning those muscles will in turn tighten the skin, giving the illusion that cellulite is less noticeable,” says Dr. McDaniel. Yoga routines that target the butt and thighs can help, as well as strength-training moves   that build muscle and boost circulation.

Have a spinach smoothie for breakfast. Blend a cup of almond milk, a cup of spinach, half a banana and a kiwi or handful of strawberries. This high-powered breakfast will keep your energy level high, and it’s a great way to get a serving of vegetables at breakfast.

2. Pause, then straighten your legs, lifting your left leg off the floor and out to the side as you stand. Pause again, then return to the starting position. Repeat, lifting your right leg to the side this time. Alternate legs throughout the exercise.

Garlic is well-known for helping to lower blood cholesterol, as well as being a great immune system booster and a natural antibiotic. This not only improves the general health of the body, but also aids blood circulation, helping the body to flush out toxins and battle against cellulite.

Cottage cheese, orange peel, hail damage. By any other name, cellulite may still throw the perfectly sane into a tizzy as winter pants and coats are doffed for more revealing spring and summer styles.

Eat plenty of raw vegetables. Raw salad greens, broccoli, carrots and other vegetables are packed with nutrients, antioxidants and water. If you make them the mainstay of your diet you’ll see a difference in the amount of cellulite you have.

As you may know, I’m not into pushing pills, but I want to mention two other supplements that are commonly recommended in conjunction with handling cellulite. Don’t count on them to be more effective than weightlifting and fat loss, but they’re cheap, and they just may help.

You can get rid of or reduce cellulite by working out, eating right, and taking care of your body. It’s important to realize though, that the appearance of cellulite doesn’t mean that you are overweight, “flabby” or fat, or that you don’t take care of your body. Because some of the factors are out of our control (genetics, for example), it’s important to not be too hard on yourself when it comes to something as annoying but harmless as cellulite.

The trouble is, there’s not much reliable scientific data behind this rationale, says Molly Wanner, MD, an instructor in dermatology at Harvard Medical School. Yet it’s the basis for many popular treatments, including endermologie, in which your fat is vigorously squished and rolled in a machine that supposedly increases circulation and removes stored fat. Numerous treatments, at $100 a pop, are recommended. Ka-ching!

A skin doc is a good place to start, and many dermatologists do perform treatments in their clinics. But cellulite is not a medical condition, says Ein-Dor, and a medical professional is not required to treat it. “I am not a doctor, but because I focus only on cellulite, I can provide many more options in my center than most doctors can provide in their offices,” she says. Medi-spas can also perform treatments such as Endermologie and non-invasive laser procedures—but Ein-Dor cautions that you make sure your technician is licensed and has received proper training on whatever device you choose. (If you want a surgical procedure like Cellulaze, however, you’ll need to see a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon.)

Injectables. Some doctors inject chemicals into the fat layer below the skin to encourage breakdown and make cellulite less noticeable. This procedure is often called mesotherapy. The chemicals used include phosphatidylcholine, aminophylline, hormones, herbal extracts, vitamins, and minerals. There’s little proof these treatments help. Most doctors don’t recommend the procedure because there’s a risk of infection, swelling, rashes, and lumpy skin.

Be sure to brush your stomach in a clockwise motion to ensure good digestion. Also, include your arm brushing with an upward motion. All brushing must be towards your heart to help with blood flow and lymphatic circulation. This in turn, will assist your immune system to strengthen as a bonus.

The scourge of many a dieter, cellulite is simply fat pushing up against your skin causing it to wrinkle and pucker — but you don’t need to be overweight to experience it. Genes could play a role in how much cellulite you have, but poor diet, lack of physical activity, hormone changes and overall body fat also contribute to its appearance. Though there’s little you can do about the genes — sorry! — there are steps you can take to feel more confident in your jean shorts. The emergence of cellulite may simply mean that the skin’s collagen is becoming weaker and lacking optimal connective tissue to support smoother, un-dimpled skin.

Even if you don’t suffer from cellulite, skin brushing is a must! The daily mini massaging effect is invigorating and makes skin soft and radiant. It stimulates skin cell rejuvenation and helps improve lymphatic flow. This system is part of the body’s way to naturally toxins out of the body, an important part of how to get rid of cellulite.

The recovery time: The outpatient procedure is done under local anesthesia. “Most of our patients go back to work the next day,” Dr. Katz says. They wear a Spanx-like surgical garment for a week for the bruising and swelling.

The procedure is considered minimally invasive: After making a tiny incision, your doctor inserts a laser probe smaller than a pencil into cellulite zones. Because Cellulaze is performed under a local anesthetic, there’s no pain during the process. Afterward, soreness can last two days; any bruising or swelling should subside in two to three weeks. One in-office treatment, to the tune of $2,000 to $3,000, will do the job for your butt or thighs. Because the procedure is brand-new, it’s just rolling out across the country. But you can find it in major cities: Visit Cellulaze.com for locations.

I am really frustrated, because I am a thin woman, and my legs were beautiful only 2 little years ago…it came out of NOWHERE, and i swear it gets worse by the day!!! (im only 30) I will not wear shorts period…and it IS as “bad as it seems” plus it is not hereditary in my family, I dont’ get it…. I do not eat bad either, and i excersise…??????????????????

To get started just in time for bathing suit season, we asked Jeanty and Balance Gym’s Graham King to share five of the top exercises to target areas that often fall prey to cellulite. But remember, King says, patience is key: “Cellulite didn’t appear in a week, and it won’t go away in a week.”

Boosting circulation helps lessen lumps, says Howard Murad, MD. Get blood flow going: Lie on your back and extend legs. Bend your right leg and pull your knee into your chest. Hold 20 seconds; switch legs to do one rep. Repeat twice.

Also called radiofrequency systems, they show promise for cellulite. Treatment usually mixes massage, liposuction, or light therapy. It can liquefy fat, cut connective tissue to loosen puckering, boost collagen growth and skin tightening, increase blood flow, and lessen fluid retention. Expect results to last at least 6 months.

We all know burpees are one of the ultimate calorie-burning, full-body exercises, so of course our trainers recommend it. The jump, squat, and pushup combo always does the job. Click here to watch a video on how to do one properly.

Equipment: Dumbbells You can make this basic exercise easier by doing it without any weights. Just keep your hands on your hips. To make it more difficult, hold the dumbbells up at your shoulders while performing the exercise.

1. Wearing ankle weights, get down on your forearms and knees (similar to the hands-and-knees position, but you bend your arms and support your weight on your forearms instead of your hands). Keep your back straight and your head in line with your back so that your eyes are looking down.

Hey, you have the same problem as me. My weight is proportional to my height, except, unlike you I dont see “some” cellulite…I see lots. If you read on the first board I have posted what I’ve done and am doing right now for cellulite. Other people have posted some really interesting stuff so I suggest you read it if you havent already. I dont believe creams will make that much difference. I used them a lot and saw no results. The thing with them is that since it’s a topical cream I dont think they are that effective because the problem starts from w/in. However, it wouldnt hurt to try. Sometimes it works for some and not for others. Good Luck!
